Become a Changemaker: Apply to the 2025 ISHR Ambassadors Program
Do you see challenges in your community that demand urgent action? Are you passionate about raising awareness for human rights issues, tackling climate change, or addressing inequality? Here’s your chance to make a difference.
The International Society for Human Rights (ISHR) invites you to apply for the 2025 Ambassadors Program—a fully remote opportunity to gain skills, connect with a global network of changemakers, and create impactful campaigns that bring attention to the issues that matter most in your community.
What’s the Opportunity?
This 8-week program empowers individuals aged 18–35 to be agents of change, with:
- Intensive Training: Learn from global experts and human rights defenders.
- A Global Network: Collaborate with diverse participants from across the world.
- Hands-On Campaigning: Develop and implement a community-centered campaign.
- Recognition: Earn a certificate of completion and a spotlight on ISHR platforms.
- €300 Stipend: Support for internet connectivity and campaign activities.
- Alumni Network: Continued collaboration and opportunities after the program.
Who Should Apply?
We are seeking passionate individuals, especially from marginalized and underrepresented communities in the Global South, including women, Indigenous groups, and youth in conflict zones. You should:
- Be able to work independently and meet deadlines without supervision.
- Commit 8 weeks to this intensive program.
- Have strong knowledge of social media and a demonstrated presence in activism.
- Be open to working in a diverse, multicultural group.
- Have access to tools like Zoom, Teams, and WhatsApp
Your Campaign
As part of your application, you’ll propose a community-centered social media campaign addressing a major challenge in your community. Whether it’s raising awareness about gender inequality, tackling climate change, or advocating for free speech, your idea should be:
- Specific: Focused on a pressing issue in your community.
- Creative: Include formats like hashtags, storytelling, petitions, or videos.
- Actionable: Clearly outline goals, objectives, and implementation steps.
Your proposal (max. 1500 words) should include:
- Introduction
- Campaign Objectives/Goals
- Implementation Plan

- Motivation Letter – 1 page explaining why you want to join the program.
