Dear members, friends, partners and supporters of the International Society for Human Rights,

We are living in challenging times and there seem to be ever more new crises. This makes it all the more important that we all do our work courageously and tirelessly. I would like to thank you for your interest in ISHR and your support in helping us to carry out high-quality human rights work in 37 countries every day. Recently, you have a new opportunity to become even more closely associated with us by becoming a personal member of the ISHR. We warmly invite you to do so – we look forward to welcoming you to our membership network.

In these times, we must not turn a blind eye and a deaf ear, but must strive all the more for high-quality information and differentiated knowledge of contexts. The articles in this newsletter once again provide ample opportunity for this. Our primary goal must always and everywhere be to stand up for the greatest good we have: human dignity.

In recent months, we have been working intensively on a new ISHR publication series, which we are now proud to present to you: The “ISHR – Global Issues Series”. It will be launched in December with a first volume on the important topic of “human rights defenders”. You can look forward to it!
