Kostiantyn is a primary school teacher and sports group leader by profession. He worked as a sports teacher at Varvarivsky Lyceum, is married and has a son. His wife and son are fighting for his return.

Abduction

On the morning of 14 August 2022, Russian soldiers broke into Kostiantyn’s house and searched the flat for weapons. Under this false pretext, the soldiers stole valuables and money. They then took Kostiantyn to an unknown location. He had his ID card, driving licence and vehicle registration document with him. His family searched for him in all nearby prisons, but without success.

It was not until 2025 that Kostiantyn’s family learned that he was being held illegally in Russian Penal Colony No. 10 in the Republic of Mordovia.

His current state of health is unknown.
