The International Society for Human Rights (ISHR) is proud to present the ISHR Social Media Advocacy Challenge 2025—a dynamic and engaging campaign where our network of global youth ambassadors are using creativity to promote human rights advocacy online.

This ongoing challenge celebrates youth-led activism and the power of digital storytelling to inspire awareness, change, and community engagement on the world’s most pressing human rights issues.

What’s the Challenge About?

The ISHR Social Media Advocacy Challenge invites our youth ambassadors from around the world to create bold, creative, and impactful digital content focused on human rights and advocacy issues they are passionate about.

Participants are submitting original content in the form of:

• Videos and short reels
• Infographics and creative posters
• Captivating images with advocacy-focused captions
• Any other unique form of visual storytelling

From gender equality to freedom of expression, education rights, climate justice, and beyond. This challenge gives our ambassadors the platform to speak up and educate others about the issues that matter most to them.

How It Works

1. Content Submission: ISHR Ambassadors submit their creative advocacy posts to the ISHR Communications Team.
2. Public Engagement: Once received, ISHR publishes each submission across our official social media platforms — LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter (X), and Facebook.
3. Community Voting: Members of the public are encouraged to engage with the posts by liking them. Every like counts toward the final results.

How the Winner Will Be Chosen

• The entry that receives the highest total number of likes across all ISHR platforms will be awarded the grand prize of €100, provided it reaches a minimum of 500 combined likes.
• Engagement is measured by the number of likes on the official ISHR posts.
• Additional surprise gifts will also be awarded to outstanding submissions based on creativity, storytelling, and overall impact.

Timeline

• Challenge Start Date: April 3, 2025
• Voting Period: April 3–April 11, 2025
• Winner Announcement: April 14, 2025
