What we do?

By way of the literature of the Seedlings of Peace and Peace Makers programs has managed to have an impact on the population of children and adolescents in the country of Venezuela.

Who we do it with?

It is currently held in 13 venezuelan states with 211 churches, 7 educational institutions and 1 prison of women in Acarigua, which have a condition of vulnerability and very low resources in general.

How is done?

1,702 adults committed to working with children and adolescents in churches and educational institutions in the country have been trained to provide them with the tools required to have a greater impact of the material. Of the 20,573 children and adolescents benefiting in Venezuela, 9,923 have received the material from Peace Makers.

Achievements and impact in 2019:

Faced with the great socio-economic need presented by the people of Venezuela, the material has provided an educational alternative to conflict resolution in different areas of the country’s population, this material has been welcomed with great responsibility and commitment from the beneficiaries


Building Lives Program

What we do?

Building Lives is a program that conducts seminars on awareness-raising strategies, identification and prevention of sexual abuse and suicidal behaviors in children and adolescents.

With whom we do it?

With teachers and community leaders working with children and adolescents.

How is done?

Trainings ranging from 6-20 hours are provided for the seminar on raising awareness, identification and prevention of sexual abuse and suicidal behaviour in children and adolescents. They are practical theoretical seminars given by a psychologist specializing in clinical psychology and mental health and a lawyer specializing in the rights of girls, boys and adolescents.

Achievements and Impact:

Approximately 3,500 teachers or leaders have been trained in the last 3 and a half years.

  • The book of travel to healing that provides tools for identifying and healing child sexual abuse.
  • Trained adults teach children and adolescents about sexual abuse prevention tools.
  • Adults identify that they were abused in their childhood and begin a health process.
  • Adult guardians committed to the prevention of child sexual abuse.
