As we bid farewell to 2023, a year that has tested the resilience of human rights worldwide, we gather to reflect on the challenges, celebrate the successes, and look ahead to the promise of the coming year 2024. The path to justice and equality has been fraught with obstacles, but together, we have made strides towards a more just and compassionate world.

In the realm of human rights, we’ve encountered numerous challenges throughout the year. From the struggles for freedom and equality to the fight against discrimination and injustice, the battles have been fierce. However, in the face of adversity, our collective voice has proven formidable. We’ve seen the power of unity in pushing back against oppressive systems and advocating for the rights of the marginalized.

This year, our leaders, the President and Secretary General, embarked on journeys across the globe to witness firsthand the diverse struggles and triumphs in various corners of the world. Their travels have not only deepened their understanding of the global human rights landscape but have also forged new alliances with like-minded organizations and activists. Looking ahead to 2024, they plan to extend their explorations to even more countries, fostering international collaboration to address human rights challenges on a global scale.

One of the significant milestones of this year was the inauguration of our Youth Ambassador Program. Recognizing the pivotal role that young individuals play in driving change, this program empowers the youth to become ambassadors for human rights within their communities. The Cohort Scheme and Internships, integral components of the program, offer a structured pathway for young advocates to learn, grow, and make meaningful contributions to the cause.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to you, our dedicated audience, for your unwavering support throughout the year. Your engagement in our online knowledge-sharing workshops has been instrumental in fostering a community of informed and impassioned advocates. Together, we have created a platform for open dialogue and the exchange of ideas, further strengthening our collective commitment to human rights.
