Welcome to Our New Intern – Project Management in Ghana! Bright Yom Dzeshie
We are thrilled to announce the addition of a dynamic new Project Management Intern to our Ghana office. This marks another step forward in our mission to amplify the voices of youth, foster social inclusion, and champion human rights across the globe. With this new leadership in place, we are poised to strengthen our impact in the region and beyond.
A Hub for Youth Empowerment: Our Internship Program
At the International Society for Human Rights (ISHR), we believe that young people are the drivers of change. Our Internship Program is a cornerstone of this belief, offering opportunities for students and recent graduates to contribute meaningfully to human rights initiatives while building their professional skills. We actively encourage youth, especially from marginalized communities and underrepresented groups, to join us in our mission. Whether you are passionate about advocacy, project management, communications, or research, there is a place for you at ISHR.
What Do Interns Do at ISHR?
Our interns are integral members of the team. During their time with us, they engage in a variety of impactful activities, including:
Project Support: Assisting in planning, executing, and monitoring human rights projects, such as the Ambassadors Program and community outreach initiatives.
Research and Advocacy: Conducting research on pressing human rights issues and contributing to advocacy campaigns that drive awareness and change.
Communications: Creating content for newsletters, social media, and other platforms to amplify ISHR’s message and reach wider audiences.
Event Coordination: Supporting the organization of workshops, webinars, and training sessions aimed at empowering individuals and communities.
Networking and Collaboration: Engaging with diverse stakeholders, including grassroots organizations, policymakers, and international partners.
Our program is designed to ensure that interns not only gain hands-on experience but also grow personally and professionally. By the end of their internship, they leave with a deeper understanding of human rights work and a strong network of like-minded changemakers.
