ISHR Ambassador’s journey—a journey that began with a shared dream of empowering voices around the globe. Today, we proudly introduce the third cohort of ISHR Ambassadors, a testament to how far we have come and a beacon for where we are headed.

It feels like just yesterday when we took our first steps in this adventure, driven by a passion to champion human rights and uplift youths worldwide. With each cohort, our community has grown stronger, more diverse, and more resilient. As we welcome our latest group of Ambassadors, we express our deepest gratitude for the journey so far and the incredible milestones yet to come.

At ISHR, we have always strived for equality in our selection process, believing that the strength of our collective efforts comes from the diversity of our perspectives. Yet, we acknowledge that there remains a significant challenge: the underrepresentation of female human rights ambassadors.

In many communities, embarking on a career as a human rights advocate is especially daunting for women. The obstacles they face are often a thousandfold greater than those encountered by their male counterparts. We understand these challenges and are committed to changing this narrative. In upcoming cohorts, our goal is to foster an environment that not only encourages but actively supports women advocates to join our ranks and share their invaluable perspectives.

This year marks an exciting milestone in our journey as we expand our global footprint. We are proud to welcome 15 participants from Uganda, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. As of 3rd of March 2025, we will engage in a dynamic exchange of ideas through intensive learning, networking, and collaboration—a time dedicated to equipping you with the skills and connections to drive meaningful change in your communities.
