Ambassador Program

Ambassador Program

On May 6th, 2024, the long-awaited Volunteer Ambassador Program 2024 Cohort shall commence. This program is in line with our ambition of having a young generation of Human Rights advocates from all over the world.

The Ambassadors Program recently admitted eight youths into the Volunteer Ambassador Program, 2024 Cohort from a pool of exceptional young people who applied for the program. After a successful pilot in 2023, the program received many extraordinary applicants who are determined to bring about change in their societies. These eight individuals stood out from the pool of applicants. The cohort represents several countries, including Australia, Cameroon, Georgia, Gambia, Kenya, and Uganda. The program spans eight weeks and involves intensive training, engagement with the ISHR global network, practical human rights projects run by the ambassadors themselves, and eventually, their rollout as ISHR full ambassadors. The program gives particular attention to marginalized groups and welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds.

We are optimistic that these young people will lead the landscape of Human Rights in their communities to the desirable levels.
