On Thursday, 8 May 2025, ISHR Secretary General Matthias K. Boehning visited the office of the German section of the ISHR in Frankfurt. Together with Valerio Krueger, spokesperson for the board of the German section of the ISHR, Dr. Carmen Krusch-Gruen, Eastern Europe expert of the German section of the ISHR, and Michaela Koller, religious freedom expert of the German section of the ISHR, numerous current human rights issues, event ideas and campaign plans were discussed. Secretary General Boehning also had the opportunity to meet the current interns of the German section of the ISHR and thank them for their excellent work in promoting human rights. In the early evening, everyone gathered to watch the presentation of the new Pope Leo XIV on television.
